When a local ship manager commenced delivering crew transfer services to an industrial client it was decided that to be “best in class” they need to have a safety management system certified in compliance with the ISM Code. Wyndward Maritime developed the initial safety management manual and supporting procedures and forms and achieved an Interim Document of Compliance for Lloyds Register within the specified 10 week period.
During this time Wyndward Maritime supported the operational aspects of the projects through crew selection, vessel pre-purchase inspections, assessment of foreign constructed vessels against Transport Canada regulations for importation and support to the site manager.
